One advantage of this guide is that it provides a lot of small, clear tips that should be helpful to writers of all levels. It's not specifically geared to beginners or experienced writers. The chapters are organized intelligently and include plenty of examples and fill-in templates a reader can practice with. It's also in a pleasing, easy-to-read typeface. I don't know how much spread there is between the rental and purchase price now, but I'd advise buying if it's not too great and you expect to have writing projects for many more semesters or to go into a career that will involve writing.

Unlike most leadership texts, 'The Nature of Leadership' does not follow the traditional enumeration of a leadership theory per chapter. It's thought provoking and provides the reader with novel insights for a new leadership paradigm, but also highlights the challenges of existing leadership thought and research.
I like it good reading need it to finish my degree.

The book was able to allow me to learn more about food service management and guide me through my master’s course adequately. It includes great managerial and individual ways to handle food service workplace situations as well as alternative ways to handle outcomes and conflicts. I was able to link examples as well as make scenarios based on the material in this text a great resource for higher level dietetic courses.
It was ok, there were some damages on the bottom outside of the book when sent, I really didn't too much care about that. When I went to my class my teacher had a whole different book so I had to return it. Other than that clean pages in the inside, no doodling, or ripped pages.

Liked the layout of the book and the side notes included in almost every page. Best part is the definition and questions that make you think after each section of the chapter.
This book was great. It wasn’t too opaque, the images were beneficial and the online materials were wonderful!
I wanted to wait to write a review until I was nearly finished reading this book, one that I understand is standard reading for music history courses today. I have taken a long time to get through it. This volume contains a wealth of excellent and fascinating material. I have learned so much from it. Among the many things I learned was how for earlier music we probably will never know exactly how much of it sounded. But the book presents a very readable survey over the many centuries, providing the reader with much interesting information. I am the son of musicians but not a technically trained musician myself. Those with a more technical musical background will get more out of the technical aspects discussed. But there is plenty for those of us non-technical folks to glean from the many chapters.
This textbook was just in the best condition. It was like brand new and I was able to use this text for two semesters before they switched to the newer editions. Thank goodness.
Very informative and well written textbook. The only thing I do not like about this book is there is not an index.
This is a great book for those who want a deeper understanding of the fundamental theorem of calculus , it makes learning calculus fun and easy to do .
I am using this book for a Biomedical Ethics undergraduate class. So far the articles have been useful to our discussion. I do not like that the print is thin on the paper. That might just be a personal preference though because I have to wear bifocals to read.
I think this is a very good book for a first course in Fire Dynamics for students with just basic thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer. Used it for junior level Chemical Engineers and it went very.
My first law school book, it’s been a long time coming and I’m finally enrolling to get paralegal certification.
I need this text book for school. I can't tell you much about the content and ease of reading, but it is what I needed. Just as an FYI, you will need a 3-4 inch binder for it. I squeezed it into a 3 inch Avery D ring binder, but really could have used a 4 inch binder. Another helpful hint is to purchase binder tabs to mark where each chapter is (the 31 binder tabs worked great - there were enough to mark the appendix, glossary and index too).
What i liked most about this book, was that it includes points of view from both liberal and conservative ethicists. So that one can take into account both points kf view before coming to a conclusion. This book was a big help in my medical ethics class.
